Egg White Omelette Wedges
If clean eating is your main objective, an omelette will be one of your go-to menu items. They're packed with protein, super easy to make and will actually keep you full. Here's an easy recipe full of nutrients and great for weight loss!
You'll need:
Baby spinach, 3 large eggs, low fat mozzarella shredded cheese, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper.
1. Place 1/4 cup EVOO in a skillet over medium to high heat. Add 1 cup baby spinach and season lightly with salt and pepper for 3 minutes.
2. Separate yolk from 3 large eggs. Whisk the egg whites. Pour egg white mixture over the spinach in the skillet.
3. Allow egg white to cook in skillet for 30 secs. Flip half of the egg white over the other half. Cook another 60 to 90 secs.
4. Remove from skillet. Cut into 3 triangles. Sprinkle with Tobasco and low fat mozzarella and enjoy!
Add a side of fruit for balance!
