Refreshing Green Smoothie
Thank God for smoothies because as someone who has spent majority of her life as a picky veggie eater, smoothies have made it possible for me to ingest some vegetables I wouldn't dare consume as a solid (celery!... puke).
And with the warm weather this green smoothie is perfect for cooling off while getting some serious nutrition with good flavor.
Here's my green smoothie recipe!
Servings
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients
1 cup celery
1 cup dry spinach leaves
2 peeled kiwis
1 apple
1 large banana
Directions
Add 1 cup crushed ice
Add 14 oz water
Cut up all of your fruit and add to blender.
Blend and enjoy!
