Crispy Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cups
Reese’s peanut butter cups are without a doubt in my top five favorite chocolate candies. Only Kit Kats and peanut m&m’s beat the cups, and Twix is probably tied, then there’s Butterfingers.... wait, am I rambling? Rating classic sweets is my thing. But I digress. When I saw this recipe by @holyhealth, I knew right away I wanted to make it.
Furthermore, the recipe had me at only FOUR INGREDIENTS and a freakishly short prep time. You guys know I’m all about ease!
I made mine in a mini cup version though this same recipe will work with regular baking or cupcake cup liners.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
Almond butter (a few scoops)
Rice puff cereal
1 tbsp Coconut oil
Sea salt
Directions
In a microwave-safe dish, melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30 sec increments. (I did 2 rounds and stirred a little in between).
Pour half of the chocolate and oil mixture evenly into all 6 baking cups/liners.
Add a small scoop of almond or peanut butter into each liner.
Sprinkle each with rice puff cereal. Add the remaining chocolate evenly. Sprinkle with a little sea salt.
Freeze for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
