Crunchy green smoothie bowl
The best part about making a smoothie bowl versus a traditional drink smoothie are the whole additions you can make without choking (yikes).
I get tired of the same types of meals after a while so switching it up helps get me excited about eating healthy again. I love adding crunchy textures to creamy based foods so I threw some cashew and coconut granola in the mix! It also added more substance to keep me full longer. it was more like eating a meal which is a feeling you don't get from sipping on a smoothie.
You'll need...
1 large banana
1 cup frozen sliced kiwi
1/2 cup frozen green grapes
1/2 cup dry spinach leaves
1/2 cup cashews
1/2 cup plant milk
Blend for 15 to 20 secs.
For toppings
Add blackberries, cashew butter granola or whatever whole small fruit or granola flavor you like!
