Refreshing Green Smoothie

There's something about a green smoothie that just makes you feel refreshed and recharged! And that's exactly what I needed to feel after a few bites of some "my weakness" food over the weekend. You understand...

Anywho, after chowing down mac n cheese, brisket sliders and fried chicken tenders I knew my body needed some good, clean TLC. Solution - (aside from a few extra gym sessions), GREEN SMOOTHIE! This is always one of my go-to's after a night or weekend of "bad" eating. It's a great meal replacement full of nutrients to help recharge you, immune booster and the fiber is there to help eliminate the artery clogging glory you consumed just hours prior. Green Smoothie (Pear and Spinach)

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 cup crushed ice

  • 1 pear

  • 1 cup spinach leaves

  • 1/2 cup green grapes

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp flaxseed

  • 2 tbsp honey

Blend and enjoy!
